MFSA understands that continuing education about developments in the mailing and fulfillment industry is critical for company owners and their employees -- and the association strives to meet those needs so that its members are able to keep their competitive edge. Each year, MFSA hosts a number of conferences covering key topics within the industry. Key conferences include:

  • Annual Conference -- typically held in June each year, this is the premier place for owners and key senior managers to get the information they need to continue to succeed in a competitive marketplace. In addition to a host of educational sesssions, the conference is designed to allow time for extensive, topic-specific networking with colleagues throughout the industry. It also features tours of member facilities in the local area, enjoyable social events, and a trade show -- the Mailing & Fulfillment EXPO and Internet/Software lab -- that is one of the premier exhibitions in the industry.
  • Mid-Winter Executives Conference -- Held annually in January, this is the place for owners and CEOs to gather and look at their business from a strategic level. Hosted at some of the finest resorts from around the country, the conference offers an inviting mix of business and pleasure.
  • Fulfillment Conference -- As the name implies, this conference focuses specifically on third-party fulfillment related topics, a growing piece of most members' businesses. The conference offers something for everyone engaged in 3PF activities, whether they are new to the business or are experienced providers looking to take their businesses to the next level. A trade fair also lets participants review many of the latest products and services in fulfillment. Plant tours of member facilities and extensive networking opportunities are also valuable features of this conference.

Production, customer service and sales conferences. MFSA holds conferences addressing each of these important topics. At times, two of more of these subjects are combined into a single conference, because members have told us that they find it useful for their key employees in one area to understand how their operations relate to other areas with their companies. As with most other MFSA conferences, plant tours and time for networking are standard elements of these meetings.

In addition, MFSA also brings its educational offerings right into your company through our Virtual Seminar series. These sessions, which are held several times per year, average 1.5 to 2 hours in length and cover a host of subject, including MERLIN implementation, supervisor skills, sales and customer service training and much more. Most members access these Virtual Seminars in their company's conference area, where multiple employees can gather and view and listen to an interactive presentation conducted via the Internet and your telephone.
